I would like to know if you are interested in taking the donation of a badge? My grand-father was a member many years ago and I have a badge that says "Greenwood Fire-Police". I would like it to be on display in the museum if someone would contact me I can bring it by to show you.

My Grandparents bought a home on Thomas Street in 1955 and the guys from the Greenwood station were good friends and good neighbors to my Grandparents, my Mom and Uncle, and myself over the years until the station was closed. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but when I am at the house my family bought all those years ago it is a comfort for me to look out the back window and see the firehouse looking the way it did when I was little. My Grandmother always said that 'the boys' in the fire house were there to help and protect us, and I shouldn't be frightened by them or the trucks when they went out. Thank you all for your service.
